Wekesa O. Madzimoyo is co-director of AYA EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE (ayaed.com) based in the Atlanta, GA metro area.  He is a widely known educator, researcher, personal and leadership development consultant, trainer, and host of the acclaimed – The Power of My Black Hand radio program (harambeeradio.com & libradio.com). He has more than twenty five years experience in developing alternative reprogramming and accelerated learning techniques to break the negative social programming experienced by African Americans in education, business, and personal development as a result of racism, classism and sexism and other forms of systemic and personal oppression.


National Coordinator of the 21st Century Underground Railroad (powerdvm.com), Wekesa guides Sales-Warriors and Student-Warriors in a national community-based educational program designed to help us get our people’s minds and money right. He’s dedicated to helping us to find, take back and keep our righteous minds.


Wekesa is the National Coordinator of the Black Millionaires Mentorship Program and is the author and lead facilitator of “Emotional Literacy for Business Succes” and “Feel the Flow of Success.”


He is the lead trainer and originator of the national workshops: "Healing Oppression's Wounds," "Warriors & Healers,"and Sankofa Math.    Using an African-centered frame, African Americans support each other in healing the wounds created by external and internalized oppression starting with ourselves and extending into our community and into our professional lives.


Wekesa has been the prime developer of Mu-Kanda, AYA's "Online Communiversity with Soul." Located in Stone Mountain Georgia, AYA Educational Institute's African-Centered Online Campus offers interactive courses for students and adults: that's real-time interactive learning -- with live instructors.




Through its adult courses, AYA has served students in Washington, DC, South Carolina, New York, California, Florida, North Carolina, Illinois, Bermuda, Trinidad and Georgia where it is based. 

Through its youth courses AYA serves middle school and high school students with a full academic curriculum that’s high culture, high nurturing and high expectations. Through Mu-kanda this curriculum also serves home schooling parents around the country.

Wekesa, a proud family man, is a father of 4 and husband to Afiya Madzimoyo for 20 years. He is a dreamer, a seeker of truth, committed to improving the quality of life for his people and all people (in that order).


Wekesa is also Office Manager for ComproTax, Inc.’s Clarkston, GA site.
